Careworld London is dedicated to providing people looking for care for themselves or their loved ones and our goal is to offer the highest quality care and support possible; regardless of their level of need or dependency. Our prime objective is to assist those we look after to remain in their own home for as long as they wish with dignity, independence and control over their life.

Careworld London's professionally trained team adopts a holistic approach to supporting our users; focusing as much on their interests and preferred lifestyle as on the personal care and support required. Our aim is to promote good health and social inclusion whilst respecting diverse range of choices that ensure satisfaction from all our users, carers and parents. We take a person centred approach, which meets the users individual needs and wishes, whilst helping them develop basic skills to enable them to become more independent. Our aims include:

Our personal care assistants and support workers are directly employed by us and are continuously assessed and provided with ongoing training to ensure skills and working practices are up to date. We recruit & train local people to deliver services.

We are accredited and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and a member of the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA). Careworld London is also ISO–9001 certified to maintain the Quality Management Systems [QMS].

The services we offer are not unique but we would like to think our standards, professionalism and charges would be hard to beat.

Company History

Careworld was founded in 2011 by Ayub Khan, who had been working in various roles in Social Care and related disciplines. Having carried out research for an M.A. that identified a chronic lack of housing and care services for BME elders in London and surrounding areas, the Company was formed to help address this shortfall, providing care services to specifically meet these needs. From its first base in London Borough of Towerhamlets, London, and with a handful of family and friends, Careworld London began to provide care to the BME communities, in particular Asian Adult and elders, on a private commissioned basis. The Company developed to provide services to paying customers, who wished to purchase a specialised service that was appropriate and responsive to their cultural, social and religious needs and preferences in addition to their physical needs.

Many of these initial Service Users came as referrals from the well established community-based organisations such as churches, mosques and day centres often linked to BME communities. Careworld has maintained these links, which we believe are a vital part of our continued success in not only identifying a potential customer base but also providing fertile ground for recruitment. We are able to obtain staff from the communities we serve, a theme that continues through to the present day with our "community-based approach to business".

Careworld has now moved on from this initial specialised provision, for although we are still rightly proud of our heritage as a provider of care services to the BME communities, we have evolved into providing a range of diverse and wide-ranging care services to all communities. Careworld London is no longer a specialist provider, but a mainstream provider that can provide a specialist service if required to do so: a small but significant change to our ideology and practice.

Careworld London Management:

Ayub Khan (RMA, MA, MBA, ACCA, AAT) – Managing Director

Ayub is the owner and Managing Director of Careworld London. He established the business in 2011 after recognising a need for domiciliary care for BME Adult and Elders in London. Since that point he has gone on to build Careworld London into the business it is today, with a huge potential and a renowned position within the homecare providers.

Ayub Khan – Registered Manager

Registered Manager, with full executive responsibility for the strategy, management and running of the business, Ayub founded Careworld London in September 2011 from his previous position of Executive Director of Careworld UK. In the short time Ayub has been with Careworld London he has led the Company's acquisition strategy and directed Careworld's significant business expansion. Ayub has spent the last 11 years of his career developing and improving domiciliary care services and is a leading exponent of the drive to move service delivery to one that focuses on outcomes and choice for the individual. His experience will ensure that Careworld continues to be a high quality provider, builds on its robust business portfolio and takes a leading role in the Personalisation changes that face the industry.

Asaduzzaman Khan (MA, MBA, BSc, LMC ) – Functional Manager

Asad has been the Functional manager of Careworld London since 2012 and is responsible for all financial aspects of the company. During his tenure, turnover has grown significantly, predominantly through organic growth. Asad is a key member of senior management team, involved in tendering and contract management. Asad assumes overall responsibility for all care management and related duties within the organisation as well as developing new initiatives and strategies. He also has an input into all operational issues.

Lakhiya Akter – Training and Administrative Manager

Lakhiya has 13 years experience in the field of care services and has experience in working with children and families, people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, young offenders and the elderly. She started work with Careworld London in 2011 as Admin Manager and steadily progressed through the Company to her current position of Training and Quality Assurance Manager. Lakhiya has responsibility for Training, quality assurance and health & safety.
