Our registered manager Ayub Khan has been working in the care profession for over 10 years and joined our company at its inception.
We also have a team of senior staff including functional manager, care coordinator, and administrative officer to ensure we deliver our care efficiently, effectively and in compliance with CQC requirements.
The continuous training strategy at Careworld London ensures that we bring the uppermost quality of care according to the government standards.
All our care workers are compliant with the CQC standards and are up to date with their training. They are trained to a high standards and fully experienced in the field of caring. They have a warm manner, polite, approachable and at all times professional. The majorities of our care worker has been with us for a number of years and have NVQ qualification in Health and Social Care.
Appraisal and staff supervision meetings are held regularly. Each member of staff is closely monitored and supervised and all have continuing improvement and training programme in the following areas:
- Health and Safety
- Food hygiene
- Infection control
- Dementia awareness
- Palliative Care
- Care Plan
- SOVA (Safeguard of vulnerable adults)
Our senior staff regularly visit all service users to ensure all aspects of care are being carried out to the highest standards and that all outcomes are being met on a continual basis.
All care workers are employed by us directly and are subject to a robust employment and vetting procedure as follows:
- Applicants are required to complete a detailed application form
- If suitable, we will invite them for interview and assessment by our management panel
- Once selected:
- We will conduct DBS (Discourse and Baring services) and POVA (Protection of Vulnerable Adult) checks
- References will be obtained from their two latest employers
Once the above requirements have been fulfilled, they will receive and participate in mandatory training, which includes induction training, general health and safety training, moving and handling of people and medication management. Prior to working with service users, all new staff will shadow our experienced staff until we are satisfied they are properly trained.
